Forecasters warned Ukrainians about rainy weather and talked about where to expect precipitation, the press service of the Ukrainian Hydrometeorological Center reported. This week, predominantly warm weather is expected, but in the southern and western regions, as well as in Zhytomyr and Vinnytsia regions, precipitation with thunderstorms is forecasted.
- September 10 - brief rains and thunderstorms in the southern regions
- September 11-12 - similar phenomena in the western regions
- September 12 - local precipitation is also possible in Zhytomyr, Vinnytsia, and Odesa regions, in places with thunderstorms.
On Thursday, the western regions expect more intense rains of moderate strength, in places significant, with strong gusts of wind up to 15-20 m/s. No precipitation is expected in other regions of the country.
Temperature Forecast
The air temperature at night will be around 10-18 degrees, during the day it will warm up to 22-28 degrees. On Thursday in the western regions, on Friday in Ukraine except for the southeastern part, a decrease in daytime temperature by 3-5 degrees is forecasted.
In Kyiv on September 10, no precipitation expected, at night 14-16 degrees, during the day up to 24-26 degrees, with an easterly wind of 5-10 m/s. On September 11-12 in the capital also no precipitation, but a bit cooler: at night +12...+14 degrees, during the day up to +24 degrees. The wind will change to southeast at the same strength.
According to the forecasters' predictions, this week rainy weather with thunderstorms is expected in Ukraine, mainly in the southern and western regions. The air temperature will also drop by 3-5 degrees, especially in the western regions of the country. Be prepared for changes in weather conditions and dress accordingly!
