Ukraine is expected to see an improvement in weather conditions at the beginning of next week after a prolonged period of rain and frost, forecasts meteorologist Natalia Ptuha. She noted that the cold air mass currently present in the country will bring typical autumn temperatures, and although rainfall will decrease, a true Indian summer should not be expected. The forecast for October 18 predicts cloudy weather with clearings, but local rains are possible.
«Over the weekend, we are experiencing atmospheric fronts, and on Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and even Thursday, a field of increased atmospheric pressure will influence the weather in Ukraine. This means that the likelihood of precipitation is minimal, but the temperature will not change significantly. During the daytime, it will be +4… +10 degrees», – explained Natalia Ptuha.
Analysts predict that the winter of 2025-2026 may become one of the coldest in recent decades. December will be wet and relatively mild, but January will bring a drop in temperatures, and February is expected to bring true Arctic cold with frosts and snowfalls.
According to meteorologists, next week an improvement in weather conditions is expected in Ukraine, but a prolonged period of stable warm weather is not anticipated. It is also worth being prepared for changes in weather conditions in the middle of next week, as rain is possible in some regions of the country.
