Hourly power outages from January 15: what is known about the schedules

From January 15, Ukraine will implement schedules for hourly power outages due to the consequences of Russian attacks on energy facilities. This decision has become necessary due to the complicated situation in the country's energy system, which has been severely affected by missile and drone attacks.

DTEK CEO Maxim Timchenko noted that this winter will be particularly difficult for Ukrainians.

In the context of limited electricity supply, citizens must be prepared for changes in the electricity supply schedule. He emphasized that the situation in the energy system may change, so it is important to monitor information regarding the timing and volume of outages.

To obtain current information about power outages, Ukrainians are advised to refer to the official pages of the regional energy companies in their area. This will allow them to receive the most accurate and timely information about the disconnection schedules that will be implemented in the near future.

Challenges and adaptation

The introduction of hourly power outages reflects the serious challenges that Ukraine faces in wartime. The loss of energy infrastructure requires adaptation from the population, which must be ready for new living conditions. During this period, it is important to maintain communication with energy companies to obtain current information, which will help reduce inconvenience and ensure a proper level of preparedness. In times of crisis, it is important to exercise caution and plan electricity usage in advance.
