Incident in Essen

A train derailed in Essen, Germany, on January 13, 2023, around 10:30 PM. The incident occurred before the passage of a US Army depot. As a result of the crash, one axle of the locomotive derailed, but no one was injured. It is known that the last train passed through this section without issues at approximately 5:30 PM. The next American military train was scheduled to pass through this area 70 minutes after the crash.
