- Beets decreased by 40%, now costing 15-20 UAH per kilogram

Along with falling prices, some vegetables have started to rise in price:

Dill has skyrocketed by an incredible 70% - now costing 50-85 UAH per kilogram. Cauliflower has also risen to 45 UAH per kilogram.
Reasons for price decreases and increases
Price reductions are associated with an increase in the supply of the new harvest, active collection of vegetables, and delivery of products from producers.
Price increases are due to a reduction in stocks of high-quality vegetables, adverse weather conditions, and other factors.
Market specifics
Kharkiv markets show a stable situation: cucumbers and tomatoes have decreased by 30-35%, potatoes by 60%, cabbage costs 17-22 UAH per kilogram.
The Kyiv market has increased the activity of trading seasonal vegetables with different prices depending on the quality of the goods.
Expert forecasts
Experts predict further price decreases for vegetables in the second decade of July. However, the current drop in prices started late due to weather conditions in spring. Experts advise expecting a sharp decline in fruit prices due to an unfavorable harvest.
