In the US, there is a growing trend among young people to refuse jobs in corporations in favor of franchising businesses. Where does this change come from? According to Entrepreneur, young people want to be independent and have control over their future.

Research from Upwork shows that more than half of young Americans from Generation Z no longer see a career in corporations. They are seeking flexibility, rapid development, and the opportunity for self-realization, which is not always possible in large companies. A survey by MarketWatch also confirms this trend, showing that young people want to achieve financial independence through their own business rather than through permanent employment.

Thomas Scott, the founder of Home Run Franchises, claims that for many young people, success means starting their own business. Franchising provides them with the opportunity to realize their ambitions under a well-known brand and established business model, which is particularly attractive for those who do not want to build everything from scratch.

Although only 8% of franchisees in the US are young people, their influence on the market is gaining strength. For example, the company Frios Gourmet Pops, purchased by a young entrepreneur, expanded its network from 18 to 110 locations using modern marketing strategies and activity on social media.

In the US, there is a growing interest among youth in franchising businesses instead of corporations due to the desire to be independent and have more control over their own future. Studies show that young people prefer flexibility, rapid development, and opportunities for self-realization, which are mostly unattainable in large corporations. Franchising allows them to realize their ambitions under a well-known brand and established business model, creating a pathway to success right away. The young generation of entrepreneurs is actively influencing the market, changing it, and leading to the emergence of new, innovative approaches in modern business.
