Generation Z turns to face-to-face communication
Members of Generation Z are increasingly choosing real communication over dating apps. Zoomers are hosting themed parties and prefer face-to-face interaction. This is reported by

It seems that the time for dating apps is coming to an end. The feeling of fatigue and endless swiping is driving young people to seek alternatives and return to real communication. One bold step in this direction is flirt parties.
One such event in Los Angeles gathered 150 participants. The idea was initiated by Hayley Bain, who organized the meeting in her backyard.
Guests were given stickers at the entrance with captions: 'actively seeking', 'in open relationships', or 'do not touch'. It turned out that active games and contests do not require alcohol for Zoomers, while millennials cannot imagine fun without a drink in hand.
This event turned out to be extremely popular and successful. Hayley Bain even plans to hold a series of similar events. This story is evidence that modern young people prefer live communication, which cannot be replaced by dating apps.
Many users who have spent years on Tinder, Hinge, and Bumble feel that these platforms have turned partner searching into a boring routine.
Additionally, analysts conducted a sociological online survey among 1,500 Americans from different generations - Zoomers, millennials, and Generation X. It turned out that young people have started to perceive their meetings differently: now they go on dates not for romance, but due to financial constraints.
Generation Z is increasingly choosing live communication over using dating apps, organizing themed parties where young people can interact in person. This indicates a general trend to step away from the virtual world and prefer real emotions and offline communication. The attempt to change the attitude towards dating and partner search may lead to new trends in modern relationships among youth.
