Police officer died in combat zone
Today, August 1, during a combat mission, police officer Alexander Pantyukhov was killed at the positions. This was reported by
"Glavkom"citing the National Police of Ukraine.
It is noted that Alexander Pantyukhov was from the city of Ukrainian, currently occupied by Russian troops. After studying, amid active combat, he came to serve in Donetsk region. He worked as a district officer in the Pokrovsk police department.
Brave defender of Ukraine
"The police officer was most eager to drive the enemy off Ukrainian land, so he joined the rifle battalion. Shoulder to shoulder with the military, he destroyed the occupiers and held back the advance of the Russian army. During the execution of a combat mission at the positions, Alexander sustained fatal injuries. On this day he turned 23 years old," the post says.
The National Police added:
"Brave, determined, just, he loved life and people, always tried to protect them. This is a painful, irreparable loss. Eternal glory to the Hero!".
We remind you that during a missile strike in the Svyatoshinsky district of Kyiv, patrol police officer Lilia Stepanchuk was killed. Rescuers freed her body from the rubble.
Moreover, as a result of severe injuries sustained in an accident, 29-year-old captain of Vinnytsia police Vladyslav Yurchenko died.
Police officer Alexander Pantyukhov died in the combat zone while performing his duty. He was a brave defender of Ukraine who gave his life for his country. The National Police expressed deep condolences to the family and loved ones of the deceased officer.
