The man was hospitalized with bodily injuries, and later a criminal case was initiated under the relevant article of the law. A psychological-psychiatric examination showed a stress reaction during the attack.

After the investigation was concluded, the police determined that the attack on the executive producer of Public Television was committed by Makara himself. Expert assessments and testimonies confirmed that there were no other individuals near the victim. The forensic psychiatric examination also showed a stress response in the man during the attack, which became further evidence of self-harm.
