Поліція врятувала 79-річну жінку під час нічної тривоги в Білогородці.

Search for Missing Woman in Bilohorodka

During a nighttime air raid alert in the village of Bilohorodka, police successfully located a 79-year-old woman who had gone missing. The report of her disappearance was received at 1:39 a.m. The search involved the following personnel and resources:

  • Police Captain Andriy Makhortov
  • Senior Sergeant Anatoliy Zorin
  • Officers from the Bucha District Police Department
  • A canine unit
  • Local residents

The woman was found and brought home, where she was handed over to her husband. According to police, while she was outside, she was not subjected to any criminal acts or shelling. This detail is particularly significant given that over 70,000 Ukrainians are considered missing as a result of Russian aggression.

The Broader Issue of Missing Persons

Searching for missing individuals has become a top priority for law enforcement during wartime. At the same time, police have also uncovered a criminal group attempting to seize the property of Mykola Kolbun, a scientist who developed an innovative medical field and information-wave therapy technology, and who has been officially declared missing by a court. This case further highlights the pressing issue of missing persons in Ukraine.

Investigations into missing persons cases in Ukraine are increasingly critical given the current conflict and numerous incidents tied to aggression. Police continue working to improve public safety and assist the families of the missing. The successful outcome in Bilohorodka, where tragedy was averted, underscores the effectiveness of cooperation between law enforcement and the community.
