On Monday, August 11, a 25-year-old resident of the village of Holiki in the Slavutsk territorial community contacted law enforcement, reporting that her husband had left home the day before with their four children and had not returned. This was reported by the police of Khmelnytskyi region, as mentioned by

All police personnel were assigned to the search. The law enforcement officers divided the forest into sectors and began to comb through the area. Soon, the man with the children was found, approximately 5 km from the village.

As it turned out, the head of the family, who had moved from Donetsk, decided to take a ride with his sons. When they drove into the forest, the car ran out of fuel, so the father and children spent the night in the vehicle. In the morning, they tried to find their way out of the forest, but got lost.

Other adventures

The police helped the man and the boys return home, where they conducted a preventive conversation with the parents about preventing similar incidents in the future.

We remind that in Zhytomyr, rescuers assisted a man who climbed onto the support of a suspension bridge in the city center and could not descend by himself. Additionally, in Odesa, people got stuck on an amusement ride in Shevchenko Park due to a power outage.

Earlier, it was reported that in the Zakarpattia region, rescuers found a tourist in the mountains who had wandered the Carpathians for ten days. The tourist was found in the Bolotin Hrun area of the Rakhiv district in a depleted condition. He was fed, given hot tea, treated for wounds, and then taken to the village of Bohdan and handed over to emergency medical services. Ultimately, the victim was hospitalized in the Rakhiv district hospital.

Ukrainian police heroically help people who are lost or have gotten into difficult situations, which is an important part of their work.
