Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of those whose lives were taken by the war between Russia and Ukraine. Today we remember Nazarii Lepak.

Thought is important❗️

On August 8, 2025, Nazar Lepak died while performing a combat mission near Toretsk, as reported by the Western Ukrainian National University.

Nazarii Lepak was born on September 4, 1999, in the city of Drohobych. He went through an important path - from school No. 1 to the Drohobych Professional College of Oil and Gas, and then to the Ternopil National Economic University.

After his studies, Lepak worked as a lead economist at the 'Drohobych Automobile Crane Plant.'

In October 2023, Nazarii voluntarily joined the Armed Forces of Ukraine and became a member of the 12th Special Purpose Brigade 'Azov.' He initially served as a stormtrooper-machine gunner, but after being injured, he switched to operating unmanned aerial vehicles.

Fate concealed time from him forever on August 8, 2025, when he died during an operation near Toretsk. He left behind a beloved girlfriend, parents, a sister, grandmother, and niece.

The Commander-in-Chief joins in a moment of silence honoring the memory of all Ukrainians who gave their lives in the struggle for our Motherland.

Nazarii Lepak is just one of the numerous heroes who made an incredible contribution to the defense of Ukraine. Their actions and sacrifices do not leave anyone indifferent and remind us of the importance of memory and gratitude every day. These people are true examples of courage and patriotism, who should be honored and remembered.
