In memory of Alexander Drugay
Every day at 9 a.m., Ukrainians honor the memory of those who died in the Russo-Ukrainian war. Today we remember Alexander Drugay.
He died on August 1, 2023, while performing a combat mission in the Kharkiv region as a result of an enemy airstrike. Master Sergeant Alexander Drugay sustained injuries that led to his death. This was reported by

Memory of the Defender
Alexander Drugay was born on September 2, 1976, in Russia. He worked in the machine-building association of the Ukrainian city of Bilopillya. His colleagues remember him as a reliable and responsible person.
When the enemy approached us, Alexander Drugay took up the defense of our Motherland. He sacrificed his life for its future... – remember his brothers in arms. – He was respected in the border guards' team.
Alexander Drugay was 46 years old.
Posthumously, by the order of the Head of the State Border Guard Service of Ukraine, he was awarded the title of Master Sergeant.
Award for Courage
For personal courage and dedication to Ukraine, Alexander Drugay was awarded the Order of Courage III degree (posthumously) by the decree of the President of Ukraine.
