The Commander-in-Chief joins the moment of silence. We honor the memory of all Ukrainians who died in the struggle for their homeland. We remember those who were killed by Russian invaders, light candles in memory, and bow our heads in grief during the nationwide moment of silence to honor the bright memory of the citizens of Ukraine who gave their lives for the freedom and independence of the state: all military, civilians, and children, all who died in the fight against Russian occupiers and as a result of attacks by enemy troops on Ukrainian cities and villages.
We must remember the relatives and friends of the fallen soldiers, who continue to feel the loss and sorrow. This story of Vitaliy Halayko reminds us of the sacrifice and courage of Ukrainian defenders, who are immortal in the hearts of their compatriots.
