Key Players Sign Contract Extensions

Ukrainian Premier League side FC Polissya has moved to secure the long-term futures of three important squad members. Ruslan Babenko, who rejoined the club in the summer of 2024, has now signed a new deal that will keep him at the club until the end of June 2027. During his first spell with Polissya in the 2021/22 season, the midfielder made 58 appearances and provided 2 assists. The club currently sits third in the Ukrainian championship with 30 points after 16 matches in the 2025/26 season.

In a further show of commitment to squad stability, Polissya has also extended the contracts of Bohdan Mykhaylychenko and Yevhen Volynets through June 2028. These moves signal a clear intent from the club's management to build a strong core for the coming campaigns. The Ukrainian Premier League continues to operate despite the ongoing war, with clubs adapting their preparations.

Team Embarks on Foreign Training Camp

Polissya began its mid-season foreign training camp on January 15th. The squad will spend one month at a training base in Spain for intensive preparations. During this period, the team has scheduled 10 friendly matches, which are designed to help players regain optimal fitness ahead of the league's resumption.
