A resident of Kherson region decided to join the Russian army and participate in combat operations against Ukraine. The reason for his choice was that the occupiers pressured him, after which he ended up as a prisoner of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
“Who lives well under occupation? People who work for them. Those who work in the administration, as village heads, police officers, in federal service. They have decent salaries,” - said the former prisoner.
During his time in the temporarily occupied territory, the resident of Kherson region worked in the fields, trying to avoid attracting the attention of the security forces, but still ended up in captivity.
