A Chinese man named Wang Puxian, who was captured by Ukrainian soldiers, revealed that he was promised a payment of 500,000 yuan a year for participating in the war on the Russian side. However, all these promises turned out to be false, and instead of the promised assistance on the front, he was used for assaults without support for the wounded.

'The Russians treat us like dogs. I was in Vovchansk, and all the way here, there were corpses everywhere. Many people died there, and the Russians do not help their own. If someone was wounded, they were finished off to lighten the load for themselves'

He also noted that his pregnant wife and two children are waiting for him at home. It is worth reminding that previously another Chinese citizen was held captive by Ukrainian forces, who also fought on the Russian side near Toretsk in Donetsk region.

What Ukraine's reaction to the involvement of Chinese citizens in the war in the east of the country indicates

In April, Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelensky announced the capture of two Chinese citizens who fought on the side of Russian troops in Donetsk. Ukraine conducted the first interrogations of these individuals, who are receiving medical assistance and are in conditions that meet international law. The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of China is studying the information about their capture and has promised to respond.
