The Minister of Defense and Deputy Prime Minister of Poland, Wladyslaw Kosiniak-Kamysz, announced the opening of the second largest training camp for Ukrainian and Polish soldiers in southern Poland. The camp is located at one of the southernmost training grounds in the country and will serve as a training center for the Polish ground forces.
According to Kosiniak-Kamysz, this project is being implemented with the support of NATO countries and Norway. Training for Ukrainian soldiers will begin on the territory of the Polish training ground on September 1. After the successful completion of the mission to support Ukraine, the training complex will be handed over to the Polish Armed Forces for further use.
