Ukrainian Shahids Prepare to Shoot Down Enemy Drones
Shahids are preparing to shoot down enemy drones right on the front lines, before they can penetrate deep into the defenses. This information was shared on the air of News.LIVE by the deputy commander of the 429th separate UAV regiment 'Achilles', Olesya Malyarevich.
According to her, all units along the front line have been tasked with shooting down enemy drones. The respective units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are training their personnel and improving skills in working with interceptor drones.
'Everyone is involved in this matter - from aviation to mobile groups and units working with drones... Our unit has already received such training. We are already using Shahids in small quantities. However, a large group is currently completing training, after which they will receive the necessary means to shoot them down... The goal is to avoid having drones penetrate Ukrainian territory as much as possible,' Malyarevich specified.
We remind that Russia has carried out one of the largest strikes on Kyiv.
The preparation of Ukrainian Shahids for shooting down enemy drones on the front line is becoming increasingly relevant and important. The shift in focus on this issue indicates the heightened readiness of the troops to act in military conditions and defend the country from potential threats.
