Following the criticism, Polymarket apologized and removed the specific market, declaring: 'We have removed this market immediately as it does not meet our integrity standards. It should never have been posted.'
Despite removing this particular market, the platform continues to host 219 active betting markets related to the war, a fact that has further alarmed lawmakers. Congressman Moulton demanded: 'There are still 219 war markets active on your platform. Take them down immediately.'
