Frank Miel has passed away: World Champion of 1990 from the German national team did not survive a heart attack

Frank Miel, the famous World Cup champion of 1990, died at the age of 67. He played for several German clubs, winning the cup and supercup of the country with Borussia Dortmund. As part of the German national team, he became a world champion, although he did not appear on the field during the tournament. Miel also participated in the European Championships and the Olympic Games, winning bronze medals. He played a total of 17 matches for the national team.



In other football news, the tragic passing of FIFA referee from Vietnam, Tran Dinh Thinh, has been reported, who died at the age of 43 after collapsing during referee tests. The cause of his death is currently unknown. Tran Dinh Thinh was a well-known FIFA referee and the holder of the 'Silver Whistle-2025' award in Vietnamese football.



Both cases reflect the loss of outstanding personalities in the world of football who dedicated their lives to this game.
