Career and Legacy
Mykola Yanchenko was born on December 14, 1959, in the village of Kanava, Tyvriv district, Vinnytsia region. He graduated from the Tulchyn Cultural and Educational College with a degree in directing drama groups. For over 20 years, he served as the artistic director of the cultural center in the village of Moyivka. Yanchenko began his active creative work in the 1990s. In 2007, he was awarded the title of Honored Artist of Ukraine, and in 2016, he received the title of People’s Artist of Ukraine.
