Famous Norwegian skier Magne Myrmo died at the age of 83. He was an Olympic Games medalist and world champion in skiing. In 1972, Myrmo won silver in the 50 km race. At the 1974 World Championships, he won the 15 km race and became the last skier to win on wooden skis.
Tragic Death of Ukrainian Athletes
On November 15, former Ukrainian national football team player Andriy Viktorovych Polunin died at the age of 55. The tragic event occurred after a veterans' match in Lutsk. Polunin is known for his performances with Ukrainian and German clubs, as well as with the national team.
