In Russia, Tigran Keosayan, a well-known Ukraine-hater and Kremlin propagandist, has died after nine months in a coma. This was reported by his wife, the editor-in-chief of RT, Margarita Simonyan.

Keosayan was known for his pro-Russian views, actively promoting narratives about 'Russian Donbas', 'Russian Crimea', and 'illegitimate power in Ukraine'. In 2021, he even threatened to enter Kyiv: 'We will definitely be in Kyiv, sooner or later.' He also supported the war and the methods of the 'Wagner Group'.

For his activities, Keosayan was placed under personal sanctions by the EU, the UK, Canada, Ukraine, and several other countries.

In December 2024, Keosayan was hospitalized in critical condition, survived clinical death, and was in a coma for an extended period. Despite medical efforts, the doctors were unable to save his life. Simonyan also mentioned his serious illness, which sparked numerous jokes on social networks about how the couple might meet sooner than planned.

The propagandist Tigran Keosayan died after nine months in a coma. He was known for his Ukraine-hatred and support for Russian propaganda, including endorsing military actions against Ukraine and the civil war in the eastern part of the country.
