Remembering Vilen Novak
Vilen Novak, a celebrated Ukrainian film director, actor, and People's Artist of Ukraine, passed away on March 29. He was a defining figure in the nation's cinema, regarded as one of the last classic directors from the Odesa Film Studio. Novak was a corresponding member of the National Academy of Arts of Ukraine and a member of the National Union of Cinematographers of Ukraine.
