Filled with great joy, the news: among the released political prisoners were prominent opposition figures, journalists, and activists who had been held captive for a long time. Recently, on December 13, the president of Belarus pardoned 123 people, among whom notable names include Nobel Peace Prize laureate Ales Bialiatski, former presidential candidate Viktor Babaryka, and other opposition leaders.

The press service of the dictator of Belarus reported: 'The decision to grant pardons was made within the framework of agreed conditions and at the request of the President of the United States, as well as in response to the lifting of American sanctions against the Belarusian potash giant.'

According to Reuters, the total number of people who received pardons has reached 156 individuals from various countries, such as the United Kingdom, the United States, Lithuania, Ukraine, Latvia, Australia, and Japan.

The release of Belarusian political prisoners and their subsequent maneuvers are evidence of significant changes in the socio-political situation in the region and a triumph of Ukrainian diplomacy in addressing humanitarian crises. The work of the Coordination Headquarters facilitated the safe evacuation of individuals from dangerous areas, demonstrating the importance of cooperation between countries in such matters.
