One-Time Financial Aid for Families in Conflict-Affected Areas
More than 380,000 families residing in frontline communities will be granted a one-time payment of 19,400 Ukrainian hryvnias to help cover heating costs this season. This targeted support aims to assist those most in need, especially amid ongoing challenges caused by the conflict. To fund this initiative, the government has secured 7.4 billion hryvnias from international humanitarian partners. Contributions came in part from UNICEF and the Ukrainian Red Cross via the Ministry of Social Policy’s Humanitarian Account.
How to Apply for the Assistance
Applications for this aid will be accepted until October 30. Eligible individuals can submit their requests through the following channels:
- Pension Fund offices
- Administrative Service Centers (CNAP)
- Local government authorities
Funds can be received either through a bank account or via Ukrposhta postal services.

- People with disabilities
- Single pensioners
- Internally displaced persons
- Recipients of housing subsidies
- Families with many children and foster families
- Single mothers
- Families with children who have disabilities
- Family-type orphanages and foster care households
