Relentless Assault on Dnipropetrovsk Region
Russian forces launched more than 50 attacks on Ukraine's Dnipropetrovsk region within the past 24 hours, resulting in the death of one woman and injuries to nine other people. Critical infrastructure across four districts sustained damage, including the Kryvyi Rih, Synelnykove, and Kamianske areas.
Details of the June 19 Offensive
On June 19, Russian troops used drones and artillery to strike the Nikopol and Synelnykove districts, as well as the city of Pavlohrad. In Pavlohrad, an eight-year-old girl was killed in the attack. Firefighters in the Nikopol district managed to extinguish blazes that broke out in an apartment building, a private home, and a natural ecosystem.
Additional damage was recorded at the following sites:
- Post offices
- Colleges
- Gas stations
- Residential buildings
In the village of Bileńke, located in the Zaporizhzhia district, shelling completely destroyed the Myklashevskyi estate—a historic manor constructed between 1853 and 1916. This information was reported by Glavcom, citing Ukraine's State Emergency Service.
These developments highlight an escalation in violence and the ongoing targeting of civilian infrastructure across Ukraine, creating severe humanitarian consequences for local populations. The recent shelling also underscores the persistent security risks and instability in regions already battered by the prolonged conflict. The situation in Dnipropetrovsk demands urgent action from both national authorities and the international community to protect civilians and rebuild damaged infrastructure.
