The Pension Fund of Ukraine is the state agency responsible for distributing pensions and social benefits nationwide.
Pension disbursements
By August 25, the Fund had paid out UAH 75.8 billion in pensions. Of that total, UAH 9.3 billion went through the state postal operator JSC Ukrposhta, while UAH 66.5 billion was transferred via authorized banks.
Other social payments
Beyond pensions, UAH 1.5 billion went to housing subsidies and benefits, and UAH 2.9 billion covered insurance payments, including UAH 1.5 billion for sick leave. Social assistance and other payouts added up to UAH 10.9 billion.
During August, the Fund delivered 1,006.9 thousand services to citizens who contacted its offices.
These numbers reflect the Fund's broad activity in maintaining social payouts and supporting Ukrainians. The heavy share of pensions and assistance suggests rising demand in these areas. Handling a large volume of citizen inquiries also underscores the need for accessible social services in the current environment.
