Contact with the defender was lost on February 14, 2023. A few days later, the military enlistment office informed Ivan Adamski's family that he was missing. According to the data from the Zastavna City Council, the date of the warrior's death is February 17. The body of the fighter was returned during the exchange only in the summer of 2024. Life and Service
Ivan Mykhailovych Adamski was born on January 19, 1987, in the city of Zastavna, Chernivtsi region. He mastered the profession of a carpenter at the higher vocational school No. 24. Recently, he worked as a sales assistant in a furniture store and also assembled furniture. In his free time, he enjoyed meeting friends, relaxing in nature, and traveling by bicycle.
During the full-scale war, he took up the defense of Ukraine. He fought in the ranks of the 8th battalion of the 10th separate mountain assault brigade 'Edelweiss'. For the first half a year, he was an artilleryman, and during the last month - an assault infantryman. He carried out tasks in the Bilohorivka area of the Bakhmut district. On February 14, 2023, contact with him was lost. A few days later, the military enlistment office informed the family that he was missing. The body of the fighter was returned during the exchange the following summer. The defender was buried on November 7, 2024.
Ivan Adamski is just one of the many tragic stories of Ukrainian heroes who lost their lives as a result of the war with Russia. His selfless service in defense of the country and concern for Ukraine's fate leave an inexpressible impression of the courage and spirit of the Ukrainian people.
