Heating situation in Kyiv
As of the morning of January 11, over a thousand multi-story buildings in Kyiv remain without heating. This is a consequence of the missile strike that occurred on January 9, as a result of which 6 thousand houses lost heat. Currently, 5 thousand of these 6 thousand houses are already connected to the heating system, but the situation remains complicated.
Water supply and electricity situation
Meanwhile, water supply has been restored to all consumers. However, the situation with electricity remains critically difficult. It has been reported that CHPP-5 and CHPP-6 are stopped, which also affects heating in the city. Meteorologists forecast strong frosts in the coming days, which may complicate the heating situation for the residents of the capital.
This situation highlights the vulnerability of Kyiv's infrastructure in the context of military actions and the need for urgent measures to restore heating. Deteriorating weather conditions may lead to an increase in the number of households left without heating, posing threats to the health and safety of residents.
The city authorities and relevant services continue to work on restoring the system but need additional resources and support to deal with this crisis.
