The director of the state enterprise for critical infrastructure, together with the head of the regional branch, developed a scheme for personal enrichment using conscripts at work. This information was made public by the police of the Chernihiv region according to data from 'Glavkom'.
With this scheme, the director maintained contact with officials of the central office of the enterprise, who held high positions, and issued directives to the director every night regarding the fictitious employment of citizens. These officials employed conscripts who had been awarded for evading mobilization, providing them with jobs at the enterprise. In addition, the officials helped these individuals pass medical examinations, update their records, and protect themselves from conscription. For the reward received, 11 people from Kyiv, Kyiv, and Volyn regions were fictitiously employed at the enterprise, but none of them came to Chernihiv region or started working at the facilities of the state enterprise for critical infrastructure.
Recently, it became known that the director and the head of the state enterprise branch planned a scheme for illegal enrichment using conscripts. They received money for fictitious employment of individuals who had never worked at the enterprise. This is just one of the corruption cases that became known thanks to the police of the Chernihiv region.
