Recently, an agreement was signed in the Odesa region for the provision of 30 million euros from the Government of Italy for the construction of a children's hospital. This initiative will not only improve the level of medical care in the region but will also allow for the simultaneous treatment of more than 260 children.
In 2023, Italy also took patronage over the restoration of Odesa, which is constantly suffering from shelling. Italy is actively helping to restore cultural heritage sites, uniting efforts with UNESCO, and investing in the development of various areas of Ukrainian life.
There is great interest in cooperation in areas such as cybersecurity, digital technologies, transport, and energy projects that will contribute to the development of certain sectors of the economy.
