Greece has announced the conclusion of an agreement for gas supply to Ukraine. This agreement pertains to the winter period from December 2025 to March 2026. According to information from 'Glavkom', Depa reported this.
Depa Trading together with Naftogaz of Ukraine signed a Memorandum of Understanding regarding the supply of natural gas to the Ukrainian market during the winter period from December 2025 to March 2026. Representatives from Greece emphasize that this is an important step in strengthening regional cooperation and European energy security.
The agreement provides for the supply of liquefied natural gas from the United States through 'Route 1', which connects the gas transmission system operators of countries such as Greece (DESFA), Bulgaria (Bulgartransgaz), Romania (Transgaz), Moldova (VestMoldTransgaz), and Ukraine (OGTSU).

A new agreement signed with Greece and the future European tour
The President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelensky has started a visit to Greece, where the conclusion of a new gas supply agreement was announced, which will allow expanding fuel import routes and enhancing the energy security of the country during the winter period.
As part of the European tour, Volodymyr Zelensky will also visit France and Spain. In France, it is expected that an agreement aimed at strengthening Ukraine's combat aviation will be signed, and during the visit to Spain, negotiations will be held to support the Ukrainian state during the conflict.
The new gas supply agreement from Greece to Ukraine for the winter period is an important step in strengthening the energy security of the country.
