Russian oil refineries are being hit, which may affect the supply of fuel for occupying forces in Crimea. This was reported by Captain 2nd Rank Dmytro Pletenchuk, spokesman for the Navy of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, during a telethon.

'As for the main consumers of fuel, the ships, in the first place, because we are talking about tons, they are located in the mainland part of the Russian Federation. And there are fewer problems with this. It is more difficult to supply Crimea itself. There are, of course, problems with the use of the railway that they built from the occupied territories of southern Ukraine to Crimea. There were hits... They also do not risk bringing tankers to the Crimean Bridge'

Considering that there are 5 airports in Crimea with round-the-clock flights, it can be assumed that for now, the Russian military has enough aviation fuel. However, there is periodically a fuel shortage in the occupied region. Accordingly, the shortage may become a problem for enemy forces due to the overall decline in production.

According to information from Western media, 38% of Russian oil refinery capacities are currently idle due to continuous strikes by the Ukrainian Armed Forces.

Ukrainian strikes on Russian oil refineries may affect the supply of fuel to troops in occupied Crimea. The Navy spokesman emphasized the problems with fuel supply to the peninsula, pointing out the potential fuel shortage for the enemy army. It was also noted that significant refining capacities are idle in Russia due to strikes by Ukrainian defense forces.
