Bessarabia Train Now Runs Every Day
Starting June 28, the Bessarabia train connecting Kyiv and Chișinău will operate on a daily schedule. This change is designed to improve cross-border transport links between Ukraine and Moldova. Beginning June 29, the departure time from Chișinău shifts to 19:52, compared to the previous departure of 17:42.
Train Composition and Ticket Options
The Kyiv–Chișinău route will feature second-class and compartment cars, along with a brand-new children's car making its debut voyage. Tickets can be purchased through the Ukrzaliznytsia app, its website, or at railway ticket offices. These updates aim to make travel between the two countries more convenient and accessible for passengers.
The shift to daily service for the Bessarabia train reflects growing demand for transportation between Ukraine and Moldova, which could strengthen economic and cultural ties in the region. The adjusted departure time also allows travelers to better plan their journeys, potentially boosting tourism and business trips.
