Ukrainian producer and rapper Oleksii Potapenko has decided to return to Kyiv. He announced this at the Laima RendezVous festival in Jurmala, organized by singer Laima Vaikule.
Potap plans to arrive in Kyiv next week and even suggested meeting at Poshtova Square on Sunday at 19:00. Although he did not disclose the details of the meeting, he only noted the date and place.
«Next week I will be there. Let's meet at Poshtova Square at 19:00 on Sunday», – he stated.
During the full-scale war in Ukraine, Potap and his wife Nastia Kamensky lived abroad, mostly in Spain. Whether this return is just a temporary visit or if the artists plan to stay in Ukraine permanently remains unknown at this moment.
Nastia Kamensky mentioned that the couple also stayed in Miami and Barcelona. In January, Potap announced a change of stage name to Slavic Balagan, explaining this desire to become «the older brother from Eastern Europe» and represent the country without costumes, rules, and politics.
Oleksii Potapenko announced his return to Kyiv after a long stay abroad. It remains unknown at this time whether he plans to return to the Ukrainian stage permanently or if this is just a temporary visit.
