Ukrainians Explained How to Report Not Receiving Pension from Russia
According to the information from the press service of the Pension Fund of Ukraine, Ukrainians living in occupied territories or those who have moved to areas controlled by Ukraine can receive pensions and insurance compensations. However, for this, they must ensure that they are not receiving any payments from Russian pension authorities.
This requirement is outlined in the Resolution of the Government of Ukraine No. 299 dated February 11, 2025.
To continue receiving pension or insurance payments, it is necessary to make an official notification to the Pension Fund of Ukraine about the absence of payments from Russia. There are several ways to do this.
Ways to Provide Notification:
1. Through the Internet:
- 'I am not receiving a pension from another country, including payments from Russian pension authorities'
- 'I am not receiving insurance benefits for industrial accidents, occupational diseases, or due to loss of breadwinner from other countries, including Russia'
2. Through Video Call:
During a video conference with an employee of the Pension Fund of Ukraine.
3. Personally at the Service Center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine:
- Submit an application or relevant notification.
- Send a notification by mail about not receiving payments from the Russian Federation along with an ID.

Explaining the procedure for providing information about not receiving a pension from Russia, the Pension Fund of Ukraine emphasized the importance of official notification for the continuation of receiving pensions or insurance payments. In this context, various options have been provided on how this can be done, starting from submission via the Internet and video call to visiting the service center of the Pension Fund of Ukraine in person.
