Air Alert in Ukraine
An air alert was announced in Kyiv and the majority of regions of Ukraine on February 6-7 due to a massive combined attack by the Russian Federation. The mayor of the capital, Vitali Klitschko, confirmed the reports of explosions in the city, which were the result of strikes on critical infrastructure facilities.
The alert began at 20:54 and covered all regions except the western and some southern areas. From the evening of February 6 and throughout the night of February 7, the enemy used strike drones as well as air, ground, and naval-launched missiles. Air defense forces were able to neutralize 406 out of 477 targets, indicating active actions by the Ukrainian military in response to the attack.
Consequences of the Attacks
In the Kyiv region, due to drone actions, a fire broke out in a warehouse. In Rivne region, a hit on a residential high-rise was recorded, causing damage to critical infrastructure. During the night of February 7, drones struck a critical infrastructure facility in Volyn, where damage was also recorded. The Ivano-Frankivsk region was hit by cruise missiles and drones, and a series of explosions occurred in Burshtyn.

This massive attack indicates the continuation of military actions by the Russian Federation against Ukraine, especially concerning critical infrastructure facilities, which jeopardizes the safety of the civilian population.
