Ukraine Under Air Raid Alert: MiG-31K Fighter Threatens Missile Strikes, Attacks Target Odesa, Sumy, and Zaporizhzhia

Під загрозою ворожих ракет: Одеська, Сумська та Запорізька області залишаються під прицілом небезпеки повітряних атак.

Air Raid Alert Issued Across Ukraine

An air raid alert was declared in Kyiv and multiple Ukrainian regions as of 11:24 AM. This warning was triggered by the threat of missile strikes following the takeoff of a Russian MiG-31K fighter jet, an aircraft capable of launching Kinzhal hypersonic missiles. In the Odesa region, Russian attacks struck civilian, port, and industrial infrastructure, damaging warehouses, production facilities, and industrial equipment. Fires broke out at several locations, including containers storing food products.

Strikes on Sumy and Zaporizhzhia Regions

Separately, Russian forces attacked the city of Sumy, where a strike drone hit a building in the city center. Occupying troops also shelled the Zaporizhzhia region, wounding four people, one of whom is a teenager. These attacks are part of a sustained Russian campaign targeting Ukrainian cities far from the front lines. The situation remains tense, and citizens are urged to follow safety protocols.

The attacks on Ukrainian infrastructure and populated areas indicate an escalation of the conflict and the continuation of military aggression by Russia.

These events could have severe consequences for the civilian population and the country's economy. Given the persistent threat of missile attacks and shelling, it is critical for citizens to adhere to safety measures and remain vigilant, as the situation remains unstable.
