Air Target Destruction Statistics
Ukraine's Air Force has released a four-year summary of its operational achievements since the onset of Russia's full-scale invasion. The nation's air defense systems have successfully destroyed more than 140,000 enemy aerial targets since the war began. From 2022 through 2026, Ukrainian military aircraft conducted 26,800 sorties. Of these, 11,000 missions were dedicated to fire support and close air support for ground troops, while 14,000 were flown to provide fighter aircraft cover.
Combat Achievements of Ukrainian Aviation
During this period, Defense Forces aircraft eliminated approximately 9,000 aerial targets. They also struck numerous enemy command posts, logistical hubs, and areas where personnel and equipment were concentrated. Key components of the destroyed targets include:
- 86 Kh-47M2 Kinzhal aeroballistic missiles
- 709 Kalibr cruise missiles
- 2,459 Kh-101 cruise missiles
- 12 Oniks anti-ship missiles
- 540 guided air-to-surface missiles
- 44,700 Shahed-type attack unmanned aerial vehicles (UAVs)
