A fire erupted in a nine-story residential building in Vyshhorod, Kyiv Oblast. The incident occurred at 11:00 on February 4th at an address on Kyivska Street. The blaze originated in a storage room on the building's ninth floor. Emergency services successfully evacuated 12 adults and one minor child. Thanks to the swift response of rescue teams, there were no reported injuries or fatalities.

Emergency Response

Firefighters from Vyshhorod's 37th State Fire and Rescue Unit were dispatched to the scene. Upon arrival, they confirmed the fire was contained to the storage room. The crew managed to fully extinguish the flames within 34 minutes, concluding their operation at 11:34. The cause of the fire is currently under investigation.

The evacuation of the building's residents proceeded smoothly, with all individuals safely escorted from their apartments and stairwells. Rescue personnel implemented all necessary protocols to ensure the safety of those in danger.
