After the electricity tariff rose to 4.32 UAH per kWh, Ukrainians began to think about reducing expenses. According to experts, household appliances such as electric stoves, heating systems, and air conditioners can significantly increase electricity bills.
The largest contribution to the increase in bills comes from electric ovens, air conditioners, and electric water heaters. Even when turned off, some devices continue to consume energy, which also affects the bills at the end of the month.
Energy-saving recommendations
To reduce electricity consumption, device owners are advised to use the night tariff, choose energy-efficient equipment, and operate devices correctly. It is also important to avoid using high-power appliances during morning and evening peak hours, which will contribute to both reducing bills and stabilizing the energy system.
