On the night of September 3, the Russian Federation launched a combined strike on the territory of Ukraine, using strike drones, air-launch and sea-launch missiles. A total of 526 air attack means were detected and escorted. This was reported by Glavkom, referencing the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Russia launched against Ukraine:
- 502 Shahed-type strike drones and various types of imitation drones;
- 16 'Kalibr' cruise missiles from the Black Sea waters;
- eight X-101 cruise missiles.
According to preliminary data, as of 9:00 AM, air defense forces shot down/disabled 451 aerial targets:
- 430 enemy Shahed-type drones and various types of imitation drones;
- 14 'Kalibr' cruise missiles;
- seven X-101 cruise missiles.
Three missiles and 69 strike drones were recorded hitting 14 locations, with debris falling at 14 locations.
In Vyshhorod, as a result of the enemy attack, debris from the downed target ignited between residential buildings. A car and the glass of buildings were damaged. The fire from the impact has already been extinguished.
According to the mayor of Khmelnytskyi, there are damages and fires as a result of the Russian attack, and rescuers are working to eliminate the consequences. Public transport in the city will operate with deviations from the schedules.
This night, the enemy again struck at railway infrastructure. Four workers received non-critical shrapnel injuries and were hospitalized with satisfactory conditions.
It should also be noted that on the night of September 3, the occupiers carried out a massive drone attack on Ukraine, targeting Lutsk, Lviv, Ivano-Frankivsk region, Znamenka (Kirovohrad region), and Donetsk region.
The events of the night of September 3 indicate an increase in tension in the conflict between Ukraine and Russia. The Russian Federation inflicted a significant blow to Ukrainian territory, causing property damage and injuries to workers.
