First Aid Training at the Pension Fund of Ukraine
On May 12, 2026, employees of the Pension Fund of Ukraine participated in an unscheduled first aid training session organized by the Ukrainian Red Cross Society. The event took place within the Fund's structural divisions, where instructors Lyudmyla Zakharchuk and Anna Nikolska taught participants the fundamentals of providing pre-medical care. This training is part of broader efforts to enhance emergency preparedness in public institutions.
Action Protocols and the Importance of Knowledge
During the session, attendees practiced response protocols based on international standards for civilian assistance. Specifically, they developed skills in:
- conducting an initial assessment of a victim's condition,
- stopping critical bleeding,
- stabilization algorithms to support a person until an ambulance arrives.
The Ukrainian Red Cross Society instructors emphasized the value of this knowledge, stating:
“Under martial law, the safety of every employee and visitor of state institutions is a priority. The ability to quickly and correctly assess a critical situation is not just an additional skill, but a vital necessity that can be decisive during an emergency event.”
