Authorities Identify Woman Suspected in Monaco Explosion Targeting Ukrainian Businessman

Law enforcement has identified the woman believed to be behind an explosion that occurred near the residence of Ukrainian businessman Vadym Yermolaiev in Monaco. Investigators say she disguised herself as a man and placed a bag containing an explosive device at the entrance of the building. The blast took place around 9:00 PM on June 29. According to the investigation, the suspect detonated the bomb using a remote-control-like device as the businessman’s partner, Anna Nasobina, was walking by.

Anna Nasobina suffered severe injuries in the explosion, resulting in the amputation of both legs, and remains in critical condition. Four other individuals were taken to the hospital in a state of shock. The government of Monaco has confirmed that the incident was a deliberate criminal act.
