The process of 'disability' among children who are left without parental care is explained by the lawyer herself.

Institutions where healthy children reside turn them into children with disabilities. This is not an exceptional case; it is a common trend. Children who stay there for 5-7 years can become mentally or physically disabled due to inadequate conditions and stressful situations that lead to inflammatory processes and chronic diseases.

Recently, in Transcarpathia, human rights violations were detected in a boarding school: children were forced to work, beaten, and demanded money. Complaints about mistreatment of children also came from a rehabilitation center in Lviv region, where the most vulnerable orphans and children with special needs are located.
