Main Guidelines for Joint Work of the Government and Diplomats
On the first day of the meeting of heads of Ukrainian diplomatic missions, Prime Minister Serhiy Koretsky outlined the areas that the government and the diplomatic corps should focus on in their joint work. Among the priorities are the conclusion of new defense contracts, investments in the development of the Ukrainian defense industry, expansion of export routes, and attracting external financing, primarily for energy restoration and preparation for winter.
Koretsky emphasized that the key goal now is to achieve the quickest possible opening of the remaining negotiation blocks and deepen the country's integration into the internal market of the European Union.
“The top priority is to open all remaining negotiation clusters as quickly as possible and continue Ukraine's integration into the EU's single market,” the Prime Minister stated.
The Prime Minister also expressed hope that the government and the diplomatic service would work closely and in coordination.
“I rely on close and coordinated interaction between the government and the diplomatic service,” Koretsky noted, thanking Ukrainian diplomats for their professional advocacy of the country's interests on the international stage.
