Ukrainian Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko held a meeting with the British Ambassador to Ukraine Neil Crompton. The main topics of discussion were cooperation in the areas of defense, economy, and energy security.
'Cooperation between Ukraine and the United Kingdom is of great importance, and our defense and resilience largely depend on the support from the United Kingdom, which is expressed in the provision of armaments, air defense systems, and the training of our military,' the Prime Minister noted.
Work on joint defense projects is actively ongoing, and the development of investments in this area is one of the government's priorities. Additionally, measures to strengthen Ukraine's financial stability were discussed: a new IMF program, ERA loans, and other initiatives.
The meeting also highlighted the UK's decision to allocate additional funds to support Ukraine's energy sector, which regularly faces dangers.
