Audit of Defense Procurement: Svyrydenko Received Report on Initial Results

Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko reviewed the report from Deputy Head of the State Audit Office of Ukraine Yulia Solianik regarding the preparations for conducting audits at enterprises in the energy and defense sectors.



At the moment, an audit is ongoing at NAEC "Energoatom", where a check of 10 branches of the company is planned, with expected interim results by the end of December.



Audit in the Defense Sector


Starting from the 20th of December, audits will begin in the defense sector, specifically at 22 enterprises of the State Concern "Ukrainian Defense Industry", as well as checks at state enterprises of the Ministry of Defense "Defense Procurement Agency" and "State Rear Operator" for the period of 2022-2025. The first results of the audit are expected in January.



The Prime Minister instructed the State Audit Office to report weekly on the progress of audits and provide detailed information about their conduct to law enforcement agencies.



Monitoring of Defense Procurement


The Deputy Head of the State Audit Office presented the results of monitoring defense procurement carried out by state enterprises of the Ministry of Defense AOS and DOT for the period of 2024-2025.



"During the monitoring, some deficiencies in the organization and conduct of procurements were identified," stated Yulia Svyrydenko.


The Prime Minister instructed the relevant authorities to make necessary changes to correct the identified deficiencies.



The government, under the leadership of Prime Minister Yulia Svyrydenko, is actively conducting audit checks at enterprises in the energy and defense sectors to enhance effectiveness and transparency in management.
